Why a VizThink Wiki?
Our wiki is going to serve two purposes. First, it's going to be a place to house all of the content from all of our events such as conferences, regional meetings, webinars, and conference calls. Second, we're going to roll up all of that content, plus the research and writing that we do, into a topical encyclopedia of all things visual thinking. That's going to take a bit more time, and, frankly, will never be finished.

What is a Wiki?
Wikis are powerful collaboration tools. Wikis are powerful knowledge sharing tools. To learn more about wiki's in general, watch this short video from one of our community members, Lee LeFever, from Common Craft:
Who Can Access the Wiki?
Through at least Februrary, all of the information will be open to everyone to view and for comment. That includes any postings from the sessions such as video recordings, audio recordings, notes, blogs, additional materials, mind maps, graphic recordings, etc. However, to contribute to the pages, you'll need to be a community member. For now, that means attending the conference. Starting in February, we'll add a very low cost membership option for additional people with lots of features and benefits including edit capabilities to the wiki. We'll announce more about that later. For now, enjoy the great content that's being posted and, if you can, be sure to register for VizThink '08.
