Session Title: Visual Modeling as Part of Organizational Culture
Date: Tuesday, January 29, 2008
Time: 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Room: City
Description
You don’t have to be an artist to tap into the power of the right side of the brain. We will discuss how “everyday people” use the power of visual modeling and graphic facilitation to accelerate and improve their work products. We will discuss our 5 principles of successful collaborative work and explore a case study of the principles in action.

Session Notes
Going into Sunday, I didn't have a good sense of what I was going to do for the Tuesday workshop. I wanted to get a sense of the conference and the other workshops before finalizing my own. They say that "improvising isn't the same thing as being unprepared" so I had a bunch of options in my head and then finalized on Monday night.
The workshop consisted of each person doing a bit of individual work and then synthesizing their individual work during a small group activity. Then, 1 person from each group took the work into a 6th group and synthesized again. Meanwhile, the other 5 groups each had the same assignment but from a different perspective. It makes more sense if you experience it!
If anyone has any feedback on the session, I'd love to hear, or even better, fill out the evaluation below. daniel.rose@bell.ca
