Brief Description
As the Internet matured creatively, socially,technically and economically we saw a trend towards communicating via short messages, video, audio, animation and images. However there were no comprehensive web applications available. We created Empressr so that people would have an online tool to create visual stories anywhere, without having to be highly creative or technically capable. It’s a dynamic visual storytelling device for the everyday person.
Empressr main feature is the all-inclusive media library, where users upload and manage different media type assets, with search, filter and keyword support to locate files quickly.Users can easily drag and drop the assets to the stage from one location.
Users can specify the size of the document created, soit can fit a wide screen monitor, or the content area in a blog—we think that’spretty cool.
And what we feel is a key ingredient in any application, online or installed is best summed up by a recent quote from Marc Edwards, creator of iSlayer, “Everything seemed really obvious and easy to navigate. I think the design and UI is really nice.”
