I have an idea for the planners of VizThink to consider, based on something I recently heard was done at the "Systems Thinking in Action" conference held in Seattle earlier this month. Perhaps you're already planning something like this or better!
Folks from the World Cafe teamed with others to host a "Conversation Space" that was a sort of drop-in space, held during break-out sessions, and hosted by a facilitator and graphic recorder. Something like this, a casual space for people to mingle, share ideas sparked by earlier discussions, maybe post visuals, might be a nice feature at VizThink.

The day after...I still have a glow about meeting people who think like me. A discovery of like minds, whose views of the world will surely grow more powerful through continuous collaboration and innovation. Coming from a media background, with a significant internet perspective, I continue to be amazed by the power of self-organizing groups.
